One of late 18th Century classic form, the slender stem with concentric bands of beading and the body and foot engraved with flowers and foliage. Mark of Henry John Lias and James Wakely, London, 1879. 7.7 in (19.5 cm) high. 8.65 troy oz. The other is of similar form and engraved with a presentation inscription reading '5th GRV (Galloway Rifle Volunteers) 1878 Second Prize Given by A.J. Stanton, Esq. MP. Won by Private Jonathan W. Neale.' Mark of Josiah Williams and Co., Exeter, 1877. 7.5 in (19.1 cm) high. 7.84 troy oz. (2).
