The 35 mm case with black dial, lumed hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock, Arabic numerals, lumed baton and dot markers, outer one minute track and black leather strap and cuff with pin buckle clasp. Dial signed and marked with the military broad arrow. To the caseback is a further military broad arrow and issue markings W.W.W. (for Watch, Wristlet, Waterproof) A7160 3520076. One of the coveted 'Dirty Dozen' of watch manufacturers selected to produce watches for the British military, Vertex was the sole British company and produced only 15,000 examples.
