Artists' Rifles 5.25 x 8.5 ins., Lithograph; The 20th Middlesex Artists' Volunteers 8 x 6.25 Lithograph by G.D.Giles, This stone was unlaid at Essen 6 x 4.25 ins., Print. Verso a brief but very interesting description of their bombing raid on the Krupps Factory by K.F.Newton P/O. "Direct hit scored with 4000 lb bomb on Krupps Factory. Flack both heavy and light - intense, co-operating with search lights, dozens of them forming large ones. Intercepted by Junkers 88 at 13,000 feet on return journey. Completely foxed him. Collected pieces of shrapnell from fuselage. Hit seven times."
