An 18th century Chinese export famille rose plate. Qianlong period (1736 - 1795). Enamel decorated to the centre roundel with a gilt highlighted flowering peony surrounded by a floral cell pattern border to the well and encompassed within equidistantly painted lotus flowers linked with floral spray swags to the rim. 8.9 in (22.7 cm) diameter.
