A Victorian silver and ivory afternoon teapot. Of oval cylindrical form with an ivory handle and finial and decorated with floral and foliate swags to the body surrounded by bands of engraved decoration with beaded rims and with an oval foliate wreath to the lid with further foliate decoration to the spout. Mark of Richard Sibley II, London 1868. Stamped retailers mark Thomas of Bond St. to the base. 4.3 (10.8 cm) height. 13.63 troy oz.
