A small Chinese jade cong
A small Chinese jade cong. Probably Neolithic period, Liangzhu culture. Of tubular form with a square cross section, tapered sides and drilled from both ends, subdivided into three tiers consisting of parallel ridges with finely incised face patterns spanning the corners, the stone calcified and brown in colour. 2.6 in (6.5 cm) height.
