A Royal Worcester blue ground urn
A Royal Worcester blue ground urn. Both sides depict rural scenes painted by Harry Davis between moulded lions' head handles surrounded by a blue ground double gilt banded border which flows in to and around the rim. The lower body is moulded with a band of overlapping acanthus leaves which sits on a circular graduated base on squat cabriole legs. Dated 1904 and signed H. Davis. 5.4 in (13.7 cm) high, 4.5 in (11.4 cm) diameter.
