A pair of Japanese Satsuma vases. Meiji Period (1868-1912). Both of ovoid form with gilt handles modelled as dragons and the bodies decorated in polychrome enamels depicting white dragons amongst seated Immortal figures. Signed with the Shimazu family mon mark to the base. 12.2 in (31 cm) high. (2)
