Description:

A large Chinese axe head. Probably Neolithic culture period. Smoothly polished and drilled from both sides with a large hole to the centre, a convex blade and with flared sides, the stone of a creamy white, light brown and pale celadon tone. 8.5 in (21.6 cm) width, 7.4 in (18.8 cm) length.
