A collection of Chinese export and English silver. Late 19th/early 20th century. Consisting of a Chinese silver matchbox case decorated with birds amidst blossoming prunus with a plain circular reserve for initials, a Chinese miniature hexagonal vase decorated with embossed panels depicting two scenes in a garden, bamboo, a bird amidst blossoming prunus and a vertical four mark together with a late Victorian silver pill box of oval form and decorated with embossed foliate scrolls, mark of Deakin & Francis Ltd., Birmingham 1896. (3 items) Chinese matchbox: 0.8 in (2.1 cm) height, 2.1 in (5.4 cm) width, 1.6 in (4 cm) depth. Chinese vase: 2 in (5.2 cm) height, 1.4 in (3.6 cm) diameter. Victorian pill box: 2.9 in (7.4 cm) length. Weight 98 grams.
