A Chinese porcelain sweetmeat dish and cover, 19th century. The heavily potted dish of circular form is divided into six compartments comprising of a circular central section surrounded by five curved sections radiating to the outer edge with the cover functioning as a bowl with a raised foot. The exterior is decorated with overglaze enamels depicting figures in a mountainous setting with pavilions and pagodas with the interior compartments featuring flowers and insects in overglaze polychrome enamels. Both the dish and cover marked in overglaze iron red with the four character Imperial reign mark of Yongzheng (1723 - 35) in Zhuanshu script to both parts. 7.2 in (18.2 cm) diameter.
