Description:

A Chinese jade oval dragon plaque. Surmounted with two confronting dragons between a central flaming pearl with the reverse decorated with small raised curled worms linked together with incised C-scrolls within a raised border, the stone of a translucent white and partially grey tone with some brown flecks. 4.3 in (10.9 cm) diameter. Provenance: Formerly in the Alexander Taylor collection.
