A Chinese jade bi disc
A Chinese jade bi disc. Eastern Zhou period or later. Carved on both sides around the central aperture with a field of nodules, separated by a single rope twist border and surrounded by an outer ring of six chilong dragons on one side crawling clockwise and the other anticlockwise, the stone of a celadon tone with areas of calcification and iron residue on both sides. 6.7 in (17 cm) diameter.
