A Chinese archaistic jade dragon Huang pendant. Qing dynasty period (1644 - 1911 A.D.) In the Eastern Zhou period style, the arc shaped pendant carved and incised with openwork scroll motifs to the centre is flanked by two dragons, their scrolling bodies embellished with incised and raised spiral commas and terminating with confronting heads facing backwards, the stone of an even celadon tone. 4.4 in (11.1 cm) width. Provenance: Formerly in the Alexander Taylor collection
