A bamboo and silver horse riding crop or fly whisk, early 20th century. The dark brown horsehair wisk is mounted on a shaft made of bamboo applied with a silver collar inscribed Kelantan (the name of the state of Malaysia) and is mounted on a stag antler's tine handle applied with a circular silver makers plaque inscribed 'Swaine & Adeney Ltd.' Silver mark of Swaine & Adeney Ltd (Edward Swaine Adeney), London 1922. 18.5 in (47 cm) length without hair.
